Contributing
Public repositories are being prepared
Katra is an open-source project developed and maintained by the Engineering team at DevOption Labs LLC. The Katra GitHub organization is the public home for the project. Repositories are not yet public, so contribution mechanics, licensing, issue templates, and review requirements are still being prepared.
Before repositories open
Section titled “Before repositories open”- Read Current status to distinguish implemented behavior from roadmap design.
- Use the local Docker Compose guide when evaluating the current workspace.
- Do not treat screenshots, mock UI, or draft decision records as a promise that a feature is available.
Intended contribution standard
Section titled “Intended contribution standard”Katra changes should include the governing product and architecture decisions, acceptance criteria, authorization rules, failure cases, tests, operational guidance, and material deviations.
Changes involving private data, secrets, networking, file handling, or code execution should update the applicable threat model. User-facing documentation should be updated before a capability is presented as available.
Repository availability
Section titled “Repository availability”Watch github.com/katraio for the first public repositories and contribution policy. Until then, contact support@katra.io if you want to discuss an early contribution.
